The Town of Essex has contracted with Omega Excavation and Site Development, Inc to replace non-compliant sidewalk ramps within the Mansfield Village neighborhood. The following streets maybe effected: Willoughby Drive, Cavendish Drive, Weathersfield Bow, Pomfret Lane, Fox Run Road, & Thistle Lane. Work will also include new, short sections of sidewalk and sidewalk ramps at the Peacham Road circle. Work is expected to start in the month of April and is to conclude in mid-June.
Pedestrian traffic will be impacted and sidewalk detours will be implemented during this process.
